PLEASE JOIN 170 MILLION AMERICANS FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING It is likely that public broadcasting funding for KEYA Radio will be targeted for elimination in the final budget bill if negotiators don't hear from listeners in overwhelming numbers.Represenative Rick Berg has been identified as a key player in the future of public broadcasting. It is critical that Rep. Rick Berg hear from as many listeners supporting KEYA Public Broadcasting as possible in the next few days. HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP: • Call Represenative RICK BERG AT 202 225-2611 and Senator KENT CONRAD AT 202-224-2043 today and tell them that public broadcasting funding is too important to elimilate. • E-mail Rep. Rick Berg or Sen. Kent Conrad through 170millionamericans.org here, urge him to support federal funding for public broadcasting. • Reach out to your friends and family and ask them to get involved in the efforts to save public broadcasting. Encourage them to sign up at 170millionamericans.org and at facebook.com/170million and ask them to contact Represenative Rick Berg by phone and Senator Kent Conrad and e-mail them also. We hope you will call your representatives in Congress and tell them what you think of public broadcasting and the proposed cuts.
